Job description

We are looking for a skilled Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding parts using MIG according to specifications and technical drawings.

Tasks
  • Able to work independently.
  • Qualification from the Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB).
  • Understanding of welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of welding defects.
  • Ability to demonstrate welding to others.
  • Basic machine adjustment.
  • Basic machine maintenance.
  • Capable of self-inspecting the quality of welds.
  • Able to inspect the quality of others’ welds.
  • Ability to weld according to the parameters defined in the drawings.
Required qualifications
  • Understanding of technical drawings/reading plans.
  • Understanding of welding symbols.
  • Knowledge of welding defects.
  • Successfully passing the theoretical and practical examination.
  • Must hold a diploma of vocational studies and/or have relevant experience related to the position.
  • Capable of using and interpreting measuring instruments.
  • Able to adjust welding parameters.
  • Capable of safely handling parts and assemblies.
  • Training and certification as a rigger.
