In this role, you will provide essential support to operations by performing various tasks as needed by the department. Working with your supervisor and colleagues, you will contribute to maintaining an efficient, organized, and safe work environment.

Tasks

• Perform various manual tasks related to production in order to support team members.
• Prepare the equipment and components necessary for production operations.
• Carry out preparatory work and perform various tasks as required by the department.
• Use the appropriate measuring instruments to perform the required tasks.
• Handle parts, materials and assemblies safely.
• Maintain basic tools and equipment.
• Collaborate with the supervisor and colleagues to meet production priorities.
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment.

Required qualifications

• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment (an asset).
• Ability to read and interpret a technical drawing or plan (an asset).
• Ability to use measuring instruments and understand units of measurement.
• Good physical ability to perform manual tasks and lift loads safely.
