Production Supervisor

Join a skilled and dynamic team within a well-established company offering multiple career opportunities. Max-Atlas International Inc. is currently offering a new career opportunity for the position of Production Supervisor, located at our main plant in Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
Your mission
As a supervisor, you will be responsible for mobilizing, supervising, and training your team to ensure the quality of painting and production operations. You will play a key role in optimizing processes, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and proactively managing departmental activities.
Tasks
- Plan, organize, lead, and control the various painting activities in the department to meet set objectives (safety, quality, timelines, environmental and personnel costs), and revise priorities as needed.
- Evaluate team performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure results are achieved.
- Complete all documentation required for effective information flow and hold regular team meetings.
- Ensure compliance with organizational rules, collective agreement, and the effectiveness of programs implemented in the department.
- Set clear expectations for the team and involve them in all continuous improvement projects that leverage their strengths or help develop areas for improvement.
- Perform necessary measurements and recordings to ensure quality control.
- Implement structural inspection procedures for each module.
Required qualifications
- 7 to 10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the trailer industry or a related field.
- Strong educational background in supervision and team management.
- Experience in industrial painting and management in a unionized environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong leadership, proactive management style, and ability to structure operations.
