Job description

We are seeking an experienced manufacturing engineering professional to define, develop, optimize, and improve the reliability of our manufacturing processes. Industrialization is key to increasing the company’s production capacity and the quality of our products.

You will be responsible for analyzing material flows, balancing different product families, identifying opportunities for performance improvement, and implementing optimization projects in line with the growth plan and overall profitability.

You will be working closely with the production, engineering, procurement and quality teams.

Tasks
  • To industrialize products in order to implement efficient, profitable and reproducible manufacturing methods, which guarantee overall quality and high-volume production.
  • Develop and optimize the balancing of manufacturing and assembly cycles.
  • Design, test and commission production tools, jigs, lifting devices and specialized mechanical equipment.
  • Analyze manufacturing capacity by production department to support growth objectives.
  • Identify, analyze and implement continuous improvement projects, targeting productivity, quality and safety.
  • Identify opportunities to reduce manufacturing costs for product families in close collaboration with design engineering and procurement.
  • Define, write and optimize manufacturing ranges, work cycles and work instructions in close collaboration with the planning department.
  • Supporting factory operations and proposing solutions to technical problems encountered during manufacturing.
Required qualifications
  • Degree in mechanical engineering or industrial engineering.
  • Relevant experience (15 years or more) in a manufacturing environment with in-depth knowledge of product industrialization, methods, manufacturing processes and production engineering.
  • Perfectly bilingual (French and English), both orally and in writing.
Skills
  • Solid understanding of mechanical manufacturing processes and continuous improvement principles (Lean, pull flow, balancing, 5S, Kaizen).
  • Excellent command of Excel and data analysis.
  • Excellent command of SolidWorks or equivalent software – an asset.
  • Experience and ability to work in an agile and performance-oriented environment.
  • Analytical mind, autonomy, rigor, and strong ability to solve technical problems.
