Job description

Reporting to the Maintenance Department Supervisor, you will play a key role in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. Your role will involve working closely with the supervisor to ensure compliance and optimize production.

Tasks

• Perform various production-related tasks to help your colleagues accomplish their work;
• Perform plumbing preparation, cut boards and all other tasks related to production;
• Maintain basic tools and equipment.

Required qualifications

• Manual labor in a manufacturing environment;
• Having good physical fitness to be able to lift heavy loads.
• $1.50 bonus on the evening shift.

Skills

• Understanding of technical drawing / blueprint reading – an asset;
• Relevant experience in the manufacturing sector;
• Use of measuring instruments, understanding of measurements;
• Safe handling of parts & assemblies as well as basic maintenance of tools/equipment;
• Independent work with quality output;
• Versatility, resourcefulness, autonomy & experience in problem-solving;
• Achievement of daily production targets;
• Maintaining a clean and orderly environment.
