Electromechanic
Job description
As an electromechanic, you will play a central role in the maintenance and optimization of industrial equipment. You will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, all while ensuring a safe working environment.
Tasks
- Read and interpret electrical diagrams and plans.
- Install, check, replace, and repair electrical cables, outlets, and junction boxes.
- Maintain, repair, and install hydraulic and pneumatic systems for electrical control.
- Maintain and repair industrial electrical and electronic control systems and other related devices.
- Define maintenance actions for industrial equipment requiring preventive maintenance routines (carried out by maintenance personnel and/or operators) as well as external maintenance.
- Analyze and revise, as necessary, the methods, frequencies, and records of preventive maintenance.
- Modify/correct parts of industrial equipment.
- Organize and maintain the workspace (materials and tools).
Required qualifications
- Understanding of technical drawing/reading plans.
- Ability to maintain lifting and rolling equipment.
- Must hold a diploma in vocational studies as an electromechanical technician.
- Capable of using and interpreting measuring instruments.
- Able to safely handle equipment or any other items.
- Training and certification for operating a forklift.
- Training and certification for rigging.
Skills
- Understanding of technical drawing / plan reading.
- Ability to maintain lifting and rolling equipment.
- Must hold a diploma in vocational studies as an electromechanics.
- Capable of using and interpreting measuring instruments.
- Able to safely handle equipment or any other items.
- Training and certification for forklift operation.
- Training and certification for slinger.
