Are you an industrial painter who enjoys quality work, precision, and production environments? Max-Atlas is looking for industrial painters to join its team, on day and evening shifts.

As an industrial painter, you will be responsible for preparing surfaces, applying paint to various parts and assemblies, and controlling the quality of the work performed.

Tasks

Surface preparation

• Clean, degrease and prepare surfaces according to established procedures.
• required preparation products and sealants .
• Identify and correct preparation defects before applying the paint.
• Share your knowledge and best practices with your colleagues when required.

Painting application

• Read and interpret work instructions, plans and paint specifications.
• Prepare paint mixtures according to technical requirements.
• Apply the paint while respecting the prescribed parameters, methods and drying times.
• Carry out the necessary alterations and repairs.
• Detect, correct and prevent paint defects.
• Perform inspections and quality controls of completed work.
• Adjust painting equipment and perform basic maintenance.

Handling and operations

• Handle and move parts and assemblies safely.
• Use a forklift according to safety procedures.
• Read and interpret technical drawings to identify parts and manufacturing requirements.

Required qualifications

• Experience in industrial painting, bodywork, finishing or in a related field.
• Good knowledge of surface preparation and paint application techniques.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
• Knowledge of application parameters, drying times and quality controls.
• Experience with handling large parts and assemblies is an asset.
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
