Job description

As a Sandblaster, you will be responsible for preparing, processing, and finishing the surfaces of parts using advanced blasting techniques. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the quality and durability of the treated surfaces, thereby contributing to the success of our projects.

Tasks
  • Capable of working autonomously.
  • Ability to clean and prepare the surface for painting according to predefined methods.
  • Ability to recognize and correct surface preparation defects.
  • Understanding of instructions related to surface preparation.
  • Capable of self-inspecting the quality of surface preparation.
  • Able to detect errors and correct them.
  • Capable of inspecting the surface preparation of others.
  • Ability to show others how to sandblast.
  • Basic machine adjustment.
  • Basic machine maintenance.
  • Advanced machine maintenance.
  • Ability to perform cleaning and sealing before painting.
Required qualifications
  • Understanding of technical drawings (Recognizing parts in modeling).
  • Training and certification for forklift operation.
  • Have relevant experience related to the position.
  • Able to move trailer modules with a forklift.
  • Capable of safely handling parts and assemblies.
Skills
  • Problem-solving ability (ranked by level of complexity).
  • Versatility level.
  • Understand the PVA (Value Added Process) principles of Continuous Improvement.
  • Apply the PVA principles of Continuous Improvement.
